2007 Summit

Located at the beautiful Palace of Fine Arts Theatre in San Francisco, Singularity Summit 2007 focused on "AI and the Future of Humanity." Featured AI researchers included Sam Adams, Rodney Brooks, Peter Norvig, and Barney Pell. The two-day summit attracted 1,000 attendees, and was covered by multiple outlets, including WIRED and Forbes.

2006 Summit

The inaugural Singularity Summit was hosted at Stanford University in collaboration with Stanford's Symbolic Systems Program and Center for the Study of Language and Information (CSLI). Over 1,000 were in attendance. Speakers included Nick Bostrom, Eric Drexler, Douglas Hofstadter, Ray Kurzweil, Peter Thiel, and Sebastian Thrun.
